These model SSB4 analog shaker waterbaths are really good originally made in England. The variable speed heavy duty shaker motor is located below the stainless can and it agitates a magnet that in turn causes the stainless rack in the bath to move back and forth. This type of magnetic shaker mechanism ensures the bath never leaks and doesn’t require a more elaborate overhead mechanism to actuate the movement of flasks. A pair of stainless trays that secure flasks simple attaches to the roller frame in the bath. These units also come with an impeller circulator motor to ensure even mixing of the water when the shaker is not being used. Amazing value!
