In our opinion, the best platform shaker ever manufactured. They have a heavy duty oscillating assembly belt driven by a heavy duty, high torque Bodine brush motor. Rheostat speed control, simple electronics, little to go wrong. The platform can accomodate shaker flasks and be used in a hot room or simply for shaking gels or immunoblots. They don’t build them like this anymore and never will again which is exactly why we refurbish them with new bearings, rebuilt motors and whatever else they need to keep shaking for another 2-3 years.
